Victoria was born in Auckland, New Zealand, and went to Hilltop School for Girls before studying at Auckland Technical Institute and the New Zealand College of Fashion to become a designer/patternmaker. Her two top subjects while in school were Art and English. She had a very successful bridal and tailoring business while living in England, which continued after leaving England and arriving in Melbourne in 1991, and until recently in Sydney.

She now tutors to students who want to add to their college learning and those who either want to learn to adapt a pattern to make something new for themselves or are tired of seeing the same garments in every store and wish to make something different to stand out from the crowd. She specialises in plus sizes and enjoys showing women with curves how to enhance their silhouette and not cover themselves up with layers of fabric creating even more volume.

Victoria has now turned her hand back to her first love of sketching, something she regrets not doing sooner, and is also now writing her first novel for Young Adults. Her intense love of animals, in particular cats, has led to a selection of quirky cards and also pet commissions. She also produces watercolour sketches all available on her Etsy Shop.
